Inequities built into our education system — like the uneven distribution of resources — create barriers for some students to access the knowledge and skills every student needs to be prepared for life after high school.

Horizons is a transformational, community-centered approach proven to close the opportunity gap for children and help them achieve their goals in school and life.

Our project-based educational model uses a blend of high-quality academics with cultural enrichment and confidence-building activities like swimming, arts, and sports. In small classes led by professional educators, students dive into a rich culturally inclusive and responsive curriculum emphasizing literacy and STEAM, and benefit from the incorporation of social-emotional and whole-child teaching practices.
